Japan's next-gen of Erotic gaming is surprisingly ambitious

When it comes to adult games (or really just any form of sexual content), J-land does it like no other. H-game developer Teatime (which is under the same branch of company as Illusion, the folks behind the highly controversial title "Rapelay") had put up a rather interesting article about the technology involved in their new title, "Tech48".

Teatime states that Tech 48 will be the first adult PC game (and quite possibly the first game in general) to simultaneously deliver both face recognition, and head-tracking technology. T-Cam, a camera designed exclusively for the game, will interactively serve as both your eyes and "your girl"'s eyes. The interesting thing about the device is that the in-game camera angle changes according to where you're physically at. A video demo of the device is available below so check it out. I have to say I'm actually quite impressed (aside from the atrocious anime-voice, that is). Though personally, I would like to see it used in other genre such as FPS and sport games. It also seems like something Nintendo would do as the next step. Teatime writes:

I can see the technology goes well with things like Punch Out and Time Crisis.

The problem is that some people will probably break their neck though.
